Our history
16th century
The ashlar stones and columns that still hold up the house date from this time.

20 October 1693
During the reign of Charles II, the Crown created the Lordship of Las Mozas, a title covering more than 20,000 hectares, in recognition of services to the Crown. Over two hundred families lived off this land under the entailed estate system.

1910 – late 20th century
With the end of the entailed estate came direct farming and the great olive plantation that still defines the landscape. In the late 20th century, Javier Fernández de Bobadilla introduced extensive organic livestock farming and restored the natural surroundings.

Since 2020
His daughter, África, returned to the estate and turned the old farm buildings into spaces for celebrations and gatherings. Today, memory, land and contemporary life live side by side at Las Mozas.
